Example: development of hard- and software
The picture shows screen shots
from various steps during the development of hard-
and software for the control of actuation systems.
With these programs (and others) we develop
schematic drawings leading to hardware (printed
card boards [PCBs], wiring harnesses). According
to the nature of the applications resp. of
mechatronics both analog and digital circuits are
necessary. Important building blocks are specific
motion control ICs, but also programmable digital
ICs (PLDs [programmable logic devices], MCs [micro
controllers], DSPs [digital signal processors])
to which we download the software routines (written
in assembly and C). Other building blocks cover
the interfaces (to the supervising system, to the
displays).
